MYRIAM EID

HEAD OF THE INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION PRACTICE

Myriam Eid is a partner with HKL and serves as head of the Firm's International Arbitration Practice.

Myriam has extensive experience in international arbitration proceedings conducted under different international and regional arbitration rules and advises companies, state entities, contractors, owners and operators on the resolution of complex disputes, with a particular focus on disputes within the construction and engineering industry in the Arab countries.

Myriam is currently the ICC YAF Representative for Lebanon. She is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and the scientific committee of the Lebanese and International Arbitration Center of the Beirut Bar Association.

Myriam is also a lecturer in international arbitration at the school of law of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the LLM Support Program of the Beirut Bar Association in collaboration with the University of London. She is also the main coach for the USEK Vis Moot team (Vienna).

Myriam holds a Master’s degree (DEA) in Commercial Law from Université Paris II- Panthéon Assas and is currently a PhD Candidate at the same University.

Myriam is a speaker in international arbitration seminars and has contributed to several scholarly articles and studies in Arabic, French and English.
